Swedish composites firm completes first test flight of unmanned hydrofoil vessel in Stockholm
Swedish composites manufacturer Aston Harald Composite completed the first test flight of an unmanned hydrofoil craft called GhostFoiler in Stockholm's archipelago last week. The company said the vessel performed well during initial trials, navigating among ferries and recreational traffic. The design lifts the hull above the water on hydrofoils during forward motion. No performance figures or intended military applications were disclosed.
