Ukrainian drone maker Buntar Aerospace raises $10.4 million from Axon and Munkene
Buntar Aerospace, a Ukrainian drone manufacturer, has closed a $10.4 million funding round from U.S. law-enforcement technology firm Axon Enterprise and Norwegian investor Munkene AS. The round ranks among the six largest disclosed venture rounds in Ukraine this year, according to Defence Builder citing Vestbee data.
Why it matters: Axon's move into Ukrainian drone equity is a bet that frontline-proven designs will scale into Western law-enforcement and perimeter-security markets once the war ends.
