Germany allowed suspected GRU-linked operative to leave country before Leipzig airport drone attack investigation
German authorities reportedly knew one suspect in the failed Leipzig/Halle Airport drone attack had links to Russian military intelligence (GRU) but did not place him under surveillance, allowing him to leave Germany for Russia, according to Defence24. The attack targeted a Ukrainian An-124 cargo aircraft and may have been directly linked to the GRU.
