U.S. Air Force establishing 'Megatron' IDIQ contract vehicle to fast-track DAF Battle Network acquisitions
The U.S. Air Force is establishing a multi-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle called Megatron to accelerate acquisitions for the Department of the Air Force Battle Network. The IDIQ is intended to enable rapid procurement of interoperable command-and-control systems and network infrastructure. Brig. Gen. Joshua Williams said the goal is for industry to bring adaptive, interoperable solutions rather than bespoke integrations.
