Ukrainian maker KhKBM built more than 600 BTR-4 armoured vehicles since full-scale invasion
Ukraine's Kharkiv Morozov Machine Building Design Bureau (KhKBM) has built more than 600 BTR-4 troop carriers since Russia's full-scale invasion began, working through repeated missile strikes on the country's defence industry. The firm disclosed the production figure to a Militarnyi correspondent at MSPO 2026.
Why it matters: Six hundred BTR-4s is battalion-scale production under fire — KhKBM's output rivals some NATO contractors working in peacetime conditions.
