Denmark is procuring additional Naval Strike Missiles from Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace to upgrade its frigate fleet. The deal, arranged as a government-to-government transaction with Norway, is valued at approximately €38 million. Neither the number of missiles nor the delivery timeline was disclosed.
Norway's Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace will build a factory in northern Poland to manufacture and maintain counter-drone systems for the Polish SAN programme, investing over 200 million zlotys (approximately €45 million). The plant will create more than 100 permanent jobs once at full capacity. The announcement was made on 13 October.
American Rheinmetall secured a $710,000 subcontract from Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace to produce machined components for the MCT-30 medium-caliber turret fitted to the US Marine Corps' ACV-30 amphibious combat vehicle. Work will be performed at American Rheinmetall's Michigan facilities with deliveries throughout 2026.
