Autonomous maritime systems developer Saronic broke ground on Port Alpha, a purpose-built shipyard at the Port of Brownsville, Texas. The facility is being constructed from scratch to produce Saronic's autonomous surface vessels at scale. The company positions Port Alpha as a new model for rapid U.S. shipbuilding capacity.
