Ukraine's SBU reports mass drone strikes on Russian supply lines
Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) claims its Alfa special operations unit is conducting a unique operation using "middle-strike" drones to target Russian supply routes. Over the past month, SBU special operations fighters reportedly destroyed or damaged nearly 2,400 Russian assets in these strikes, aiming to isolate an entire stretch of front-line territory.
Why it matters: Ukraine's reported mass drone strikes highlight the evolving asymmetric tactics in modern warfare, demonstrating effective disruption of enemy logistics with unconventional, low-cost assets.
