UK firm UTM wins US Army contract worth up to $257M for 5.56mm marking ammunition
The US Army has awarded UTM Ltd., a UK company based in Bury St. Edmunds, a contract worth up to $257 million to supply 5.56mm marking ammunition for force-on-force training, Defence Blog reports. The contract covers M1042 loose and M1071 linked cartridges for the Close Combat Mission Capability Kit.
